Quando a câmara volta a passar por ela, está a comer uma maçã. É simultaneamente um auto-retrato misterioso da realizadora no seu lugar preferido e o equivalente na sua cinematografia a uma natureza morta.

THE ROOM / LA CHAMBRE - A long and non-stop slow panning shot repeatedly describes the space of a room. In bed, chantal Akerman sits motionless. When the camera passes her again, she is eating an apple. It is both a mysterious self-portrait of the filmmaker in her favourite place and the equivalent, for her film making, of a still life
