DESERT

PLAYERS ENJOY REST DAY IN THE DESERT

31^st January, 2013 (Doha, Qatar) – With the Group Stages complete and the line-ups for the Quarter Finals revealed, the teams competing in the Al Kass International Cup enjoyed a well earned rest day.

Taking a break from football, the teams headed off on a Desert Safari. From the futuristic downtown area of Doha, the teams travelled to see the stunning desert landscape that surrounds the city.

Driving 45 minutes to the Sea Lion beach camp, the players were taken on 4×4 adrenalin fuelled drive across the gigantic sand dunes in a convoy of jeeps.

After their drive they returned back to the each camp and lounged on the beach before heading back to the city to the team hotel.

Many of the teams then headed for an afternoon training session at the Qatar Football Associations Technical Centre to prepare for their big matches tomorrow.
